今年10月に一回戦、準決勝・決勝は来年とのこと。ウェルター級と同様、6試合以上のプロ経験があることを条件に出場選手を公募。
現状、パンクラスではヘビー級で戦っている選手が存在しない中での開催となるので、ほぼ全てが新規選手ということになりそう。優勝賞金100万円は美味しいのでは。
