Big right hands by Sandro hurt Vargas and he drops looking for a takedown but eats more shots. Vargas back to his feet and he eats some big shots but does fire back. Huge knee by Sandro and Vargas almost gets a takedown but he is badly hurt. Sandro is fading a little bit but lands another hard 1-2. Big uppercut by Sandro and he really is getting tired firing these shots trying to finish. Big rights and lefts and Vargas goes down, Sandro on his back landing shots and now getting his hooks in. Sandro locks in the choke and Vargas has to tap out. Marlon Sandro wins by submission (rear naked choke), round 1.
